We look forward to seeing you at The Dayton Theatre Guild in the heart of the Oregon District! We have a few resources for you to make your visit better. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Give us a call at (937) 278-5993.
Plan Your Visit
Where to eat
Grab dinner before or after the show at one of the many nearby restaurants: Fifth Street Brew Pub, Dublin Pub, Wheat Penny, The Trolley Stop, Franco’s Ristorante Italiano, China Buffet, Blind Bob’s, Oregon Express, Jay’s Seafood, Salar Restaurant & Lounge, Lily’s Bistro, Thai 9
Parking
We have a free surface lot behind the building for your convenience!
If using the drop-off zone, please do NOT leave your vehicle unattended. Please drop off, park, and then enter the theatre.
Accessibility
Accessible parking spaces and the ADA ramp to the front entrance are located along the side of the building (Hugo Street).
We have an accessible bathroom facility and can remove chairs on our stage level to accommodate wheelchairs. Stage-level chairs are also great for those unable to climb stairs.
Assistive Listening Devices
For those patrons with hearing challenges, we are pleased to offer an audio listening system (ALS). For those patrons with either a hearing aid or cochlear implant with a T-Coil setting, we have two loop devices designed to be worn around your neck and broadcast directly to your device. For others, we have six noise-canceling headsets that can be worn over the ears throughout the performance. Please stop by our Box Office and request an ALS system if you need hearing assistance. (Effective 1/1/2018)
Seating
We have a three-quarter thrust stage. This means patrons are seated on three of the four sides of the stage. All performances at our theatre are general admission, and seats are selected upon entering the theatre space. Generally, the house opens 30 minutes before the start of the performance, and the earlier you arrive, the better seat selection you will have. Our house only has about 112 seats, so every seat is good! We can occasionally add seats to accommodate additional patrons if staging for the production allows.
Intermission
Most of our productions include an intermission, and we have a tradition of providing complimentary home-baked goods. This is only possible through the generous support of patrons that bake at home and provide them to us to thank our patrons.

Digital Check In
We no longer use physical paper tickets you print at home. Instead, we will check you in as you enter the theatre. It saves paper, helps the environment, and you never have to worry about misplaced or lost tickets!
Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather, we will post CANCELLATIONS on our website and on our main number of 937-278-5993. If NO CANCELLATION message is posted, the show will go on as scheduled.
